About Us

Like most parents and communities, we are striving to provide our children with an education that allows them not only to survive, but to flourish in today’s dramatically competitive and complex world.  Born from that need we founded WorldSchool Isla Mujeres, a small multi-cultural and inspirational grade school providing an alternative to the standard of education offered by traditional schools.

Our Mission Statement

In these formative years in our children’s education we have the opportunity to cultivate in them a passion and desire for knowledge and individual growth, now and in the future.   As parents it is important for us to trust in our children’s natural ability to learn and enjoy the process of learning with them.

To support the educational needs of our multicultural group of families we formed WorldSchool Isla.   The school provides our children with an inspiring and experiential based learning program that is bi-lingual, art and project driven, and focuses on hands-on experience as a means of teaching and expanding children’s minds in the course of study.  While reading, writing, and arithmetic though repetition are still present in our curriculum, it is not the focus. Not surprisingly, our children are thriving and they have developed a passion for learning.

Because we are such a small program and in order to maintain the focus and effectiveness of the teacher, we are only accepting children between the ages of 7 – 12 years old and keep the group size to a maximum of 15 students.  School hours are Monday through Friday 8:45 AM – 3:00 PM.
